Speaking Clock Telling Time app for iPhone and iPad

The Speaking Clock helps both beginner and more experienced time readers to learn time telling more efficiently and confidently. In a simple and fun way it reinforces their knowledge. The Speaking Clock is a one-to-one play-and-train system. Perfect for individual learning and does NOT require the child to know how to read.

It allows your child to play with time at their own pace. The system has two main features: a) The Speaking Clock and b) The quiz area.

--- The Speaking Clock ---
Your child changes the hands on the clock and clicks the clock face. That time is read out loud. If the hands are in the wrong place they are adjusted to the correct position when the time is read out loud (e.g. If the minute hand is set to ‘half past‘ and the hour hand points directly to the three...when your child clicks the clock face the hour hand is moved between the three and the four and the time is read.)

The clock can easily be set to your systems current time.

The speaking clock section has three different hands to choose from as well as three clock faces which are interchangeable.

--- The Quiz ---
The quiz randomly generates time sequences and waits for the child to set the clock correctly before moving to the next time. There is a ‘repeat the question‘ button and a ‘show me‘ button. When the ‘show me‘ button is clicked the answer is shown and the question is repeated.
